If you are tired of the Endowments, seeking something with a little more challenge (but not much more really). Take this trail down to Wreck beach. An easy trail with a couple good sections of root and rock. There are several drops on your left hand side (towards the ocean) that are worth trying. Several mud slides wipe out sections each year, so the trail changes often. In the summer grab a beer at wreck before the ride up!!

Summary:
aside from the drunk bastards throwing broken beer bottles and probably a few needles down there (you don't want to bail on those) no point in risking your health for a 1 minute ride, goto NS and hit some real DH.

Recommended Route:
don't take this trail.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
any north shore mountain will do. always some natural rock formation to jump off or something tricky. or even straight down on jagged rocks, full suspension bike like riding on a sea of chesnuts that will require plastic surgery if bailed on face first...

Summary:
Here's the catch of this whole trail. You end up on Wreck beach, which (as a beach) isn't so oriented towards riding. Second, since Wreck beach is a nude beach, you get to watch sixty year old men naked. Just go to the North Shore Mountains instead.
