Summary:
I find this trail very challenging, even the trails marked easy, so if you are a good and experienced rider be my guest, if not, well be prepared to take your bike for a walk most of the way.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Beaver Lodge Lands is easier and close to town.

Summary:
Ok, so I live in North Vancouver, and ride the Shore a lot. I also enjoy the occasional lift-service downhill day as well as a good XC ride. Let me be clear: Snowden is not a downhill area, nor is it all steep, soggy and built up with technical stunts like the North Shore. However, if you want a really fast, very fun and often steep and challenging XC ride, then Snowden is the right place to come.

There are enough bits of tough technical climbing and tight fast turns along with sections of relatively steep downhill (on an XC bike) to keep you interested and engaged. The best part though is the fact that you can travel very, very quickly through this forest and ride for hours without seeing the same trail. We saw only 3 other riders in the four hours we were out on a sweet Sunday afternoon.

Don't bash this area because it doesn't suit your specific style - it offers excellent riding and is more than worth the trip. Visit James at Swicked Cycles for good trail beta and a map.

Recommended Route:
It's all good. Bring fast rolling tires and a good set of lungs/legs and you'll be set.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Cumberland, Forbidden Plateau

Summary:
some sweet bluffs, lots of tecnical roots and rocks. I have been ridin' in there for three years and i havent ridden them all yet. if you're in to trials check out the radio tower hill, but if your a downhiller you better have a lockout on the shock, and a small ring on the front (somebody build some ramps and ladders in there please!!!). awsome x-country. great for beginners to experts.

Recommended Route:
Ride up foreplay (blue water tower)in the pumphouse through some of the bluffs back down to dean martin and into lower deliverance. ride up stckman, BLT, then to lost frog and around to demon seed. then back out to the road and back down foreplay again.(if you get a map you should see what i'm sayin). it's a biggy so pack a lunch.
