Summary:
Nice ride and a beautiful river and under the canopy if it's a hot sunny day. Some nice ups and downs, saw several hikers on a Tuesday. Motorcycles and ATVs use the flanking Eastside and Westside Roads.

Recommended Route:
I rode up and down each of the lower, mid and upper sections as well as some of the other singletracks in the area, including what I think was Helm's Creek (not the hiking trail, the multi use trail), and up to Cheakamus Lake where there's a nice section after a bit of dirt road riding (but learning about the Demonstration Forest's goals and methods which is very cool).

Other recommended trails in the same area:
A River Runs Through It, Flank, Whip it Snip It, Cut Yer Bars...gotta love the trail names around here!

Summary:
Riverside is a beautiful buffed single track ride. It definately some of the smoothest single track in Whistler. Its a great morning or afternoon ride, you can usually ride from your door in Whistler Village straight to the trail and back in about 2.5 hours. This trail is excellent for riders intermediate and above. Intermediate riders will love it for its smoothness and beautiful scenery. Expert riders will love it for its super fast smooth and long downhills. Loggers lake is an isolated crystal clean lake just off the trail and its not unusual to see skinny dippers swimming in the mid summers heat. This trail is a definite must. Swing by Fanatykco in the Village for a map or experienced guide.

Recommended Route:
As mentioned above.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Train Wreck, Flank Trail, Industrial Disease, A River Runs Through It.
