Trail Directions
go south of sparwood to the old highway, about 1 mile south of the dump. Climb up CBC Road past the gate and almost to the top. If you reach the tower you have gone to far, come back down the hill and look for a trail heading north. trail can be hard to fallow in one or two places but for the most part is straight forward. Once out on powerline rd. you can either fallow it down or climb up some more staying to the left at the intersection. When you get to the top head west kinda towards the trees and the base of one of the power poles. Look for a trail that goes by a guy wire this trail can be hard to find but is definantly worth the effort! When you reach the road turn right and this will take you back to town. Enjoy!!

Summary:
This is a fun ride but a lot of work to get to. It has a few drops and toys to play on but the actual ride only takes a few minutes compared to the climb to get to it. Would rather just travel the extra 20 minutes and go to Fernie. The ride itself could be handled by an intermediate, advanced riders may be a little disappointed. Still fun though. Tons of wild life, came 20 feet from a black bear.

Recommended Route:
CBC or Jeep hill

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Fernie

Summary:
Took the trail down to the power line and then bugged out from there. Trail was a lot of fun but pretty tame, but not lame, in most places. Structures were cool and very doable. Had a lot of fun slaloming through the forest and big ring singletracking. Excellent fun for intermediate riders, probably too easy for the big hit folks, although I didn't get to do the trail from the powerline down.

Recommended Route:
Stop at the litter barrels on the fernie side of the 'Welcome to Sparwood' sign on highway 3, as you approach from the west. Get on the east side of the highway and take the old highway road up to the CBC road. When you get to the last steep pitch before the tower, the trail is on the right, pretty obvious if your eyes are open.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Kodiak Karnage, and whatever was below it, in Fernie - WOW!
