Summary:
I ride from Pineview to Juniper every day, so I take this trail down and back up once a day. The way down on the West side has some pretty tight switchbacks, and very sandy as well as loose and rocky in areas. Fairly steep, and excellent for practicing control and picking the right lines. The way up on the East side is doable if you have the energy to make it the whole way (which I do not yet). It's a long, steep uphill with one very deep, sandy section that will challenge the traction of pretty much any tread! The switchbacks on this side aren't nearly as tough as the West side and are easily doable up and down. Many, many other trails traversing and following the creek to the falls, as well as above them. Could spend hours riding in here!

Recommended Route:
Like the other reviewer said, DOWN! Up is killer, at least for me 'till I'm in better shape!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Rose Hill, Juniper

Summary:
A lot of switchbacks and fairly steep. Like it says you start at summit and you end @ the Hospital. If you have any friends that wanna wait around you probly get some pretty nice pics. But they will have to stand on the highway those to get the best pics.

Recommended Route:
Down!

Rose Hill
