North Secret Trail

Average Rating:    (4 of 5)

Trail wanders about under power line and then heads generally east climbing trails and old overgrown logging roads up the west side of Rethel Ridge. Eventually makes its way to Wedge Creek and a nice little rip back down the creek to the trailhead (loop). Should have a bridge by next year to connect it with Foreplay.

Trail Directions
Park somewhere in Whistler. Ride north on Hwy 99 for a warm-up. Turn right into Wedgemount Gravel Pit roads. Cross bridge over Green River, turn left, ignore next left, take next right, look for little trail heading off on right, back towards power line. Take it.

A good ride, with a reasonable warm-up at the beginning. No tough climbing, but some steady uphill bits. When bridge is in, the link-up with Foreplay will be sweet.

Recommended Route:
Ride from north end first. Good climbing on intermediate trails and a few tougher sections. Cherry descent along Wedge Creek. Say hi to the bears.

Pretty much anything you see in the area.
