Summary:
It seems like it has some potential..... but the trail map and signage need serious work.

Nipika is a huge network of interconnected trails.... which means that finding the 'good ride' can be very difficult if you don't know your way. Other trails in the area (especially around Invermere) have fantastic signage for out-of-towners - Nipika should take note.

From other's opinions, it sounds like Nipika has great trails. But we didn't find them. Go with somebody who knows the resort, or get some local's knowledge at the lodge before you set out on a ride. Also, download the trail map off of http://www.columbiavalleycyclingsociety.org/, because the trail map provided in the parking lot leave lots to be desired.

Recommended Route:
Wish I knew!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Get the local guidebook from any of the bike shops in Invermere - $10, and it'll get you to some really sweet rides.

Summary:
The Trails at Nipika are some of the most beautiful and challenging single track trails in the B.C. Rockies, and that alone says alot. There are wicked steep single track descents and climbs, busy rooty and twisting forest trails and a few epic high passes to climb over and plunge down. The main system is a mix of dble track ski trails 50%and busy single track 50%. From Nipika you can ride over Bear Pass to Windermere, an all day classic, or ride the legendary Transrockies Time Trial course in the spectacular Kootenay River valley. Full services are available to bikers at the parking lot.

Recommended Route:
Transrockies Time Trial course gives riders the best of the best on this trail system!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Along the Johnson, Bear creek/ Bear Pass,
