Summary:
After few trial runs at the Delta Watershed Park I decided to do more serious DH biking starting with Nicole's. Did it first time when it was wet and it was not much fun, although it was good. Went back few times when it was dry and enjoyed it very much. Don't miss a turn to Nicole's off Mel's, since it somewhat hidden. One area of Nicole's is absolutely insane with sharp turns and steep drops, otherwize it was a good challenge for a beginer like me.

Recommended Route:
Park at the parking lot on North Road. Take North Road Trail on your right when riding toward the Power Line Trail from parking lot. North Road Trail joints with Power Line Trail and when you come to a fork, stay to your left to Trans-Canada Trail. At the second fork, you have a choice of either taking a Cardiac Trail, to your left or continuing along Trans-Canada. I usually take Trans-Canada. Once on top of Trans-Canada trail, cut across the bus stop, down Nelson way and the trail begins on your right.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Gear Jammer, Upper Cut, Function Junksion, Lower Snake. I try to ride these trails as much as possible during the week. I do it around noon, when it's dry. Looking for a partner to ride with. Give me a shout.

Summary:
It is a good single track downhill trail with a huge 100-something foot log ride which is called nicole's pole. Some switchbacks and some tricky parts. Very muddy in the rain

Recommended Route:
follow Mels down and cut across a really busy road and follow a trail that leads right to nicoles

Other recommended trails in the same area:
mel's
