Summary:
Mixed bag is the trail you ride if you want to go fast and technical without big jumps or drops. It rules in the summer, but don't ever ride it after some rain. It gets really muddy and so sketchy it's not even funny. Best bike would be a five'n'fiver or lighter freeride rig, a dh bike would be overkill for this trail. My bike is a hardtail and I'm fine. This trail is flowy if you don't mind riding uphill every once in a while.

Recommended Route:
For the longest ride, from the top, go down the trail that starts just to the right of the benches. Go left at all the forks until you get to the amazing scenic view from the top of the huge cliff. Don't fall off! Then you start riding uphill for a while and eventually you get to a sign on the right that says "Mixed bag". Go right. From there till the bottom there are no forks except minor go-arounds. At the bottom you come out at Amy Fisher where it crosses the road.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
BERMINATOR!!!!!

Summary:
its a sweet trail, but half way down it take a trail branch called Regal EScape
it avoids endless walking in mud puddles that are a couple of inches deep. haven't ridden regal but it can't be much worse than the mud

Recommended Route:
same as above
