Ridden Trail: Once a week
| |
Reviewed by: Brad Sedola
, from Port Hardy, BC, Canada Summary: Damn cool trail in the summer or when its been cold for a few days in a row. Gets a bit mushy with all the rain. There is a whole bunch of wood though, and a lot of bridges. There are 3 or 4 major drops to speak of that are rather intemidating, but do-able. Recommended Route: Turn left off of the island highway at Trustee rd just before you get into town. Then hit the next left which is Cougar Dr which is a dead end. The trail head is right there behind the house. Boardwalk is the left turn right before you hit the logging road. Other recommended trails in the same area: There has been quite a bit of development since up there. Lots of upgrading of the existing trails. Definitely more stunts. Let me know when you are coming up next.
