Cross Country Rider Summary: Fun, flowing, tight singletrack with nice surprises around every corner. All stunts are well-built and rideable for those with the confidence to try. Ride arounds for most of them as well. Only complaint is that it is too short! Plans are in the works for an extension, though! Recommended Route: Drive up Upper Brouse Road (off hwy 6) and park at the Wensley Creek cross country ski area. Pedal up the gravel road which angles up above the parking lot. Major junctions are as follows; right, left, right and up. After the last junction which is a four-way, keep climbing and curve around a switchback to the left. The road eases and you should look for the trail which drops to the left and is not totally obvious. A bent rim and sign are located part-way down the trail. Trail ends at the cross-country trails where a right turn hits the road and back to the parking lot. Other recommended trails in the same area: Blue Line, Horsethief, Kimbol/Kuskanax.
