Ridden Trail: Once a week

Cross Country Rider Summary: A classic shorter freeride trail that is a locals favorite! Terrific stunts, with nothing too crazy or death-defying. The singletrack flows nicely and is never super-steep as it winds through a beautiful, lush forest. Always a fun and challenging ride! Recommended Route: Easiest to park at the cemetery on Alexander Road. Ride up Alexander until you reach the Pre-emption FSR on the right. Follow this gravel road for a stretch (about a km or so) until a less obvious track heads up and right, past an old slash pile. Follow this up a short, steep section and then keep pedalling up the overgrown track. Junctions are as follows; right, left, left, left, right and right. After the last junction the road will level off in an old cutblock with great views out across Upper Arrow Lake. Look for the trail starting on the right. A large boulder with a wooden ramp makes it obvious. Down you go! Trail pops out on the FSR where you started, so head left to return to your vehicle. Other recommended trails in the same area: Taco Time is a slightly more challenging freeride trail which starts above the Wensley Creek cross-country ski area. Kimbol Lake and Kuskanax Creek trails make a great cross-country linkup.
