Ridden Trail: Once a month

, from Comoc Valley Summary: If you start this trail an hour or two into a ride the up will slay you. It's not very long, but the bare rock ascents get pretty steep in places, do-able when dry. The down after the up is best in the summer when it's dry and SUPER fast! Small drops, bumpy chutes, lots of surprises if you ride as fast as the trail invites you to (look out!) It has on cool rock descent that has become a hugely wide (20ft?) section with more lines than I've been able to try in my years of riding it and its years of erosion. This trail is becoming hugely eroded and braided on the technical sections sections due to its popularity as a beginner downhill and a fun speed hookup trail for more advanced riders. I belive this area (Comox Lake Bluffs) was protected as an ecologically unique area a few years ago, but all signs saying so have disappeared. I would recommend: please ride with care, don't shred the place, but it appears to have been done. There are so many lines on this trail you don't need to look for new ones on the side. If you're checking out other trails in this area, don't miss it. Race your friends, watch then crash! Recommended Route: Add this trail to any Comox Lake/Forbidden Plateau ride for a well earned (read steep but rideable climb!) speedy, sorta easy downhill payoff! Other recommended trails in the same area: Most of them. If you're at Tomato Creek, you've either done or missed a bunch of the good ones

, from comox B.C canada Summary: A pain in the ass to get up but once your their the trail (and view) is worth it. Lots of rock faces and small drops and FUN TO RIDE!!!. Not recomended for wussy bikers like Robin M Recommended Route: at the dam go straight up the logging road and over the second bitch of a hill it flattens out go along there until you come to a SMALL pull off and take a left and stay on the more so beaten trail Other recommended trails in the same area: bears bait, vulcan factory.

Ridden Trail: Once a week

, from Courtenay Summary: Really fun and ridable. Good for my skill level (ridden for 4 1/2 months). The up hill is ridable if you are better then me and the downhill is fast and fun. Some rock faces and tiny drop offs make it an exiting ride. When its icy or wet it gets kinda tricky, last week was a bit tuff... Recommended Route: Go up the logging road at the dam for about 20 minutes to half an hour, when you get to a shotgunned up sign the trail head is on the other side of the road. Other recommended trails in the same area: Shit house trail, those other trails at the bottom of tommato creek that i don't know what they are called, vulcan factory, bevan, bears bait.
