Harper Mt.

Technical, steep, lots of jumps and stunts, a few ladder bridges and teeter totters and log rides. Long trail, make sure to stay on the singeltrack or you will end up on a different trail. The trail intersects the road going up in several places so try not to get lost (if so, just head down the road!).

Trail Directions
Go up Paul Lake Rd., turn right onto Harper Mt. Rd., park a vehicle at the bottom right after you cross the creek at Paul Lake and the housing starts. Take 2nd vehicle up on the same road about 5km, you will pass several turn off's, but take one on the right that has a cattleguard and a fence. The road is rough, but follow this all the way up to the top of the ski runs, don't cross the run though, park the vehicle in the opening of the run.

Summary:
A very good mtb trail. Technical single track 75% of the way down. There are a few different trails down, but all are in proximity to one another. Just do the hill at least a few times, you'll figure it out.
Kamloops is a moutain bikers heaven!Find a local to take you out. Were not hard to find, stop at the local bike shops or just look around and ask sombody-you'll get hooked up!
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS! Unless you have a strong desire to learn what REAL offroading is about.

Recommended Route:
same as in the heading, but most people ride up from the lodge area.the road up from there will scratch a fullsize vehicle pretty bad.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Aberdeen,Rosehill,Mt. LOLO,Sun Peaks Ski Resort
