This trail is a lot of bang for the buck. It has steep descents, technical maneuvers, "reaper-log" wanna-be entry, 2'-8' drops, and a large, bus-sized log ride 15 feet in the air known as the "magic bus". In general, the trail is not for the faint of heart, nor for the 3 inch travel hardtail, weekend warrior, shorerider pretender. It can definately challenge the most radical technical riders for 30 minutes straight. Thanks to the hearty ol' loggers who left Douglas Fir stumps for us!!!
Do whatcha like, we like to bike!
Summary: Awesome Trail, new stunts recently built, great flow, some good steep sections.
Recommended Route: Acess through Four ost Souls, Up the lungbuster.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Massage Therapy,4 Lost Souls

Summary: Road first time April 21/02. Steep decents are great, very fine terrain for a black diamond. Love the gap drop the best. I will be back all summer to rip this one!

Summary: OK, I suppose I exaggerated a bit, the lanch is not quite 12 feet on Magic Bus. Although stading on the end, it does look like it. This trail does kick ass, from the start to the finish. If you know how to land your bike properly these drops are not so hard on your frame (I'm still learing). The trail is one of the best on the mountain, and with other new ones like 4 Lost Souls, Massage Therapy, Loggers Loop, Slide.....Eagle Ridge will continue to be a mountain that riders respect. I've been riding this Mountain since 1994 and have built and maintained many of the trials on it. The North Shore does have some of the best riding in the world,(I ride it every other weekend), but its nice to have a competitive alternative (Burke, Eagle, Burnaby Mtn., and the Woodlot ). Never knock a dedicated Trial builder, there the reason you are able to ride the stuff you ride.

Summary: sorry "quallity control" there is no 10 foot drops on this trail, your making things seem much bigger than they are. the start of this trail has too many nasty flat landings for it to flow (unless you have no respect for your bike). From the "Magic bus" down is ok but the start sucks.
Recommended Route: just off the start of 4 lost souls
Other recommended trails in the same area: 4 lost souls

Summary: This trail is fresh but promises to be legendary in Coquitlam. I love the flow from the first log to the last drop. Expert riders are encouraged to roll down it to wear it in. It feels a lot like Burke in its steep lines but it has the moves as well. The Magic bus is awesome and expect to see it in one of the next videos.
Recommended Route: After the new Granite slab on 4 Lost Souls. Let's see you launch this 10 footer North Shore snob.
Other recommended trails in the same area: Other trails that are under construction. That way you can bitch at the beginning when it is not even finished.
