nice single track with north shore style things and lots of log jumps good trail
Summary: aerial assault is the fernie hill's attempt at a core "shore" trail. Overall very fun but whoever is building the drops and hucks, read this very carefully....YOU NEED TRANNYS!!! not a transmission, but a landing transition; a tranny is a smooth DOWNHILL landing, NOT like the landings on this trail. The several drops on the trail have landings flatter than a week old roadkill. There is one stunt I got on, that is basically a skinny log ride that ends in a good sized drop, but the landing was in an uphill hole!!! Holy tacos batman, that sucked to find out in mid air. lucky my friend Mr. T saved me on that one. Sorry to bitch but i don't dig the hokey stunts. otherwise the trail was fun as hell, just eyeball up the drops before you turn your round rims into squares. Besides the drops, riding at the ski hill and the rest of fernie rocks. Tons of trails and nice size dh rider community.(pretty much just like anywhere in BC these days)
Recommended Route: go to fernie ski hill, get a map, ride the chair, um, need anymore directions?
Other recommended trails in the same area: if you liked the flat landings and lots of fun log rides check out Hedonism, or Bridgit Fonda

Summary: It's fun. Tonnes of Stunts, this is the track that runs next to the track that the downhillers for the canada cup ran on July 14th. Great launches and nice roots. VERY TECHNICAL. But still has high speeds!! Ramps and stunts galore!
Recommended Route: Take the chair lift stupid...
Other recommended trails in the same area: Get the trail map from customer service when you buy your lift ticket, check out the reviews on our fav's like Hollow Tree Trail, Alternate Flight Pattern, Power Carve, Playground and Kodiak Karnage.
