Orange Trail at Apex Mountain Resort

 5 of 5

Lung-burning climb, up to about 7000 feet, old doubletrack mining roads, then to awesome, technical singletrack through trees, creeks, scree. Hats off to Johnny Slam at Apex for a great job of trailbuilding.

Summary:
You gotta remember that I'm a dog and not too good at typing on computers, but I must say that my master seems to enjoy the downhill after the long painful climb up to the summit. Lots of good places to sniff, crap, and pee. I give this trail 5 steaming dog landmines.
