Ridden Trail: Once a month

, from Kaslo, BC Summary: this is a great trail for nearly any rider. we're building a trail from the Buchanan Look Out to the junction (which goes into town - the lake)... it's going to be 2200 feet of vertical baby! the plan is to have the gammet of riding styles packed into one trail, from ball-breaking (or vulva) technical and crazy drops to classic downhill and speed zones. we'll be building ladders and bridges through the summer (2000). ask Seamus and buy a slice at Meteor Pizza in Kaslo for more info. there'll also be a shuttle bus (also, talk to the man above, he'll know all about it). ...it's all about mountain riders... Recommended Route: for some FAST turns, go to "Halifax" for some slower, mild technical go to "Inuit" (you come from "Vancouver") - it'll all make sense on the trail, don't worry about a thing until you see the sign... Other recommended trails in the same area: there's a bunch; grab a guide at the SS Moyie or the adventure centre, Discovery Canada, in Kaslo.
