Summary:
A fine way to unwind after the Monster. Nice and creative well built stunts that you wouldn't want to fall off of. If your arms are fried from the Monster take a break. Then let it flow like butta.

Recommended Route:
down the Monster and into Mr Skinny

Summary:
as if the monster wasn't good enough. now there is another sweet ride right below it. this trail has lots of bridges, some good airs and is overall the perfect finish to the monster; except the very ending needs a re-route or something because we started to ride down it and the little bit of flowing water that was there turned the trail into a waterfall for the last rider in our pack after we had torn a bit out of it. Not that i am overly sensitive about environmental issues in a province that has the power to turn a pristine area like this one into a clearcut, but the trail could definitely finish off cleaner, and maybe mountain bikers around here could keep their "non offensive" reputation or whatever. Anywho, ride and enjoy; Thee Monster and mr. skinny are probably the west kootenay's most epic ride for those of us who prefer steeps, stunts, airs and vertical descent mileage;

Recommended Route:
down the monster; keep on going with mr. skinny

Other recommended trails in the same area:
in kaslo, none. Monster and mr. skinny are Kaslo's only trails with any kind of gnarl factor; hint hint nudge nudge, to the Kaslo trail builders
