Summary:
Terrace Trail is as fun as you want it to be. I used to think it was a kind of boring ride until I went with the guys from Bike Bros. (http://www.bikebros.ca). They did the thing at high speed - something many xc riders forget about as we are usually trying to pace ourselves for a multi-hour ride. At speed, this trail reminds me of Minnewanka but the fun carries on for the full length.

Recommended Route:
Out and back - start at Kananaskis Village - end point at the bridge at Galetea Creek - it is 7KM each way (i think).

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Baldy, Jewel, Corner 11, Prairie View, Skogan.

Nice trail that you can do after work. Terrace is not difficult and is a nice lower valley trail.

Recommended Route:
Park at Ribbon Creek - Go south on Terrace Trail and return on the Even-Thomas bike path.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Jewell Pass, Praire View Trail, Baldy Pass Trail

Summary:
Fairly easy offroad trail with a few bumps and plenty of jumps and 3-5 foot drops if you decide to go on them. If your not into that kind of thing dont worry the jumps and stuff are beside the trail not on it. When you get to Galitia or some of the other more challenging singletracks there are larger rocks steep decents and a hell of a fun.

Recommended Route:
Take the paved trail past ribbon creek up the paved hill to the Kananaskis Hotel. Soon you will find the real Terrace trail, none of this paved bullshit but the real stuff. Once your on the offroad stuff you can get to a whole bunch of more offroad trails (Galitia being the best and most difficult).

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Galitia, Moose Mountain, Nakiska area

Summary:
this is a great ride to start off your season or just for the beginners to get into the spirit of mountain biking adventures

Other recommended trails in the same area:
ribbon creek--especially due to signs stating 'bike travel not recommended past this point'--a good overall technical ride
