north shore(ish) wheelie drops, log rides, bridges,a- frames, ----not enough down hill, hard climbs in the middle of the trail, could use some helping hands to build this area up!!! lots of potential!!!
Summary: yeah this trail is pritty good but it still needs a bit more work most of the stuff dosent even look like it could suport a mouse but anyways it would be awsome if it got worked on
Recommended Route: same way everyone else goes
Other recommended trails in the same area: C.O.P, the cliffs just below silver springs are good (just for rideing the there isnt very many jumps or bridges)

Summary: the trail has some definite potential, but the bridges and stuff need some work. although they arnt that high up(usualy 1 meter at most) if you have to bail, or fuck up for some reason, then the lading may fuck you up a bit. No good after a rainy day, just to slipry to get anywere. I have plan on heading back, but it would realy be great if a few riders did something to clean things up a bit :D... this trail dosnt have any good flow for XC rideing, but there is some. I gave it 3 stars, because it needs some work, but it has the potential to be some GREAT BC style rideing.
Recommended Route: get on the transcanada, headed out to banf. just before you leeve calgary, take a right into valey ridge. in valey ridge, head west at the stop sign, and keep going till the road ends... hop on you bike, and head twards the river(still heading west)the trail begins just at the western tip of the golf course.
Other recommended trails in the same area: COP of course has plenty, and next to the river by silversprings and sceinic-acres is fun. next to the river, by sceinic-acres, the cliford gravel pit is still fun, even if they riped down a bunch of our shit!

Summary: Feb 18, 2001 - Trail Closed - see recommended route above
Recommended Route: Feb 18, 2001. Road this trail for 10-15 min. West from Valley Ridge golf course today. Just above Bearspaw Dam spillway, the Trail is now closed. A barbed wire fence and pile of logs blocks the way and it is marked "Private Property". Suckorama...
Other recommended trails in the same area: Would like to know of any other open trails in the area.

Summary: The trail has great potention but isn't so great at the time. Its defently worth checking out and maybe building some stunts. If we all build a stunt and fix up some of the actuall trail we can turn this into a more enjoyable place for all. Its good that this review is out cause all of calgary should know about this. 3 starts for now probaly 4 or 5 if everyone gets out and does there part.
Recommended Route: I dont think it makes a difference it has no flow either way.
Other recommended trails in the same area: COP, Downtown (urban riding), Some of Wintergreen
