Tight roller coaster like single-track along the North Saskatchewan River. It's an out and back that flows along the bank, always twisting as it goes up, down, and over log piles. Best avoided when wet.

Summary:
Trail also known as "Death Trail" but I would not catagorize it as that. It is a nice undulating twisty singletrack that follows the North Saskatchewan River. Best to park at Turner Park near the tennis courts and then proceed down paved path. Within 200m, you'll see trail start on right. This is only a short section though and riders will come back onto paved path and then need to proceed further on pavement, past bridge and then you can duck into bush after crossing bridge. The loop at end of trail has been expanded so you can take short loop or longer one although either the longer one does not add any great distance overall. Total ride out with the longer loop is around 17km. Takes about 45min to 1 hour at most to go out and back.

Some good log piles to climb over. Seems they have cut out bypass at some of the log points for those who do not wish to tackle them. Best to wear a bell so others can hear you on trail since with the twists and turns, you tend to approach other riders without warning.

Recommended Route:
Definately out and back with the loop. For those who find it too challenging, you can always cut out onto the paved trail at certain points.

Summary:
Tight and twisty singletrack that flows alongside the river. An extra little loop is being added to the end as of this date, so ride it in!

Someone also highlighted all of the hazards - roots, branches, log piles, etc. - with a bit of orange spraypaint. Maybe there is a trail-running club in Ft. Sask.

Watch your speed and keep the gears low, because there are plenty of short little power climbs and log piles waiting for you around the corner. Not as technical as it was two years ago, but it flows better now.

Recommended Route:
Out and back. Do the whole thing. You can shortcut through the farmer's field, or the paved/gravel trails if you can't ride the trail back.

Summary:
A roller coaster! A sweet xc ride, but too short, it leaves you wanting more.

Recommended Route:
Go to Turner Park in Fort Sask, Park by the playground/tenis court and as you are facing the river head left. Watch for the trail that ducks into the woods on your right shortly after the paved trail begins.
