Strathcona Science Park

Twisty single-track with lots of short steep climbs. Among the best in Edmonton although the layout is a little confusing, even to me, and I helped cut it. Once you get to the park watch for the trail, on the 2 small hill by the entrance, up the stairs near the foot bridge or at the base off the hill near the river. Have fun connecting it all together.

Summary:
Tight and twisty, just the way it should be. Off camber in a few spots so you can't rail some of the turns but other than that it's all gravy.

Recommended Route:
Try to follow the course layout and then try it in reverse. I like to session some of the steeper climbs to practice my weight distribution and technique. This is a great trail to hone your xc skills on.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
There's a jump on the other side of the foot bridge. Also follow the river West from the park and get to the trail behind the refinery and then keep going to Ewok and beyond. If you liked this trail then you must go to Fort Saskatchewan.
