There are roots, a few small drops, and jumps to bounce off of on the way down. You barely have time to blink, and then it ends and you''re walking up the hill and out of the ravine with a big smile on your face. You can enter this trail from the bottom of the ravine, or from the steep chute. Make sure to ride the rest of McKinnon, too! Lots of stuff to find.

Trail Directions
If you're familiar with McKinnon Ravine, this will be easy to find. Take 142st south to the bridge that crosses McKinnon Ravine (the first one). Turn right (east) onto Ravine Drive, just BEFORE the bridge. Follow Ravine Drive (north side of the ravine), and find the trail in the ravine on in the wooded area south of the road. Alternatively, you can enter this small side ravine from inside the Mckinnon trail system, but you have to walk up the trail.

Summary:
sweet trail and system! i just love 2 ride the trail on my fs, i just float over those roots man, its wicked. plus if you look 2 your left at the super rooty entrance there a really steep hill. it goes down and back up really suddenly, do that part with out brakes, u can just feel the g-forces acting. i tried 2 lift my hand while riding 2 test the gs and the bar turned and i face-planted, lucky i was wearing my full-face, check this place out!

Recommended Route:
ride down 142nd heading north and turn right after the bridge. look for the rooty entrance. then keep going along the top, look for a smaller entrance in a large pine shrub.

Summary:
hey this trail is amazin but if u continue aloung the top of the south side you can go to a better 1 with a little 3 foot log drop at the end and then you continue to the really steep climp on the gravel track that take you to the top of the north side and if you follow the trail to the opening w/ the houses follow the bush about 20m till you find the opening to a large rooty trail...this is by far the best trail in the ravine system because it is super flowy and fast...try it if u havent already super fun trail...even better without usin ur brakes lol

Recommended Route:
above
