Cross Country Rider Summary: FYI - This trail is closed as of 2005 - Thank the developers - so much land has been developed that the remaining recreational land is being restricted for "environmental " reasons. The soul is gone out of Canmnore for sure.
There is a new trail, same parking and approach but it runs at a much lower elevation in the same area. Not as good a trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: The new lower trail.

, from canmore AB Summary: this trail is not for the faint of heart the views, are kick ass and if you smoke like i used to the climb sucks ass! butnow that i dont smoke this is a weekly ride. if your in canmore its a must try! Recommended Route: if you make it to the single track that runs along the highway up on the ridge you will come to a down hill (just a short one) that goes down to the marriot hotel try the trail to the left its pretty hairy fun like crazy! Other recommended trails in the same area: there are tons-o-trails on the other side of cougar creek super fun but i got no names but check it out.
