Weekend Warrior Summary: Reddeer is full of great riding, but the MTB park is deadly, and getting better every day. The shore at the park offers somthing for everyone including ramp hucks, 6' drops with ride outs, and some small gap jumps. The parks lack of size is its main downfall. Recommended Route: on the north end of Gates turn east on 77th street, follow 77th till the t in the road turn left. Drive past the water treatment plant. Park is left over railway crossing, follow atv path along bottom of hill. Other recommended trails in the same area: Dirt jumps between 67th st overpass and Olymill(west side of river side drive). Faces-everything from 10' to 45' drops(near Canyon ski resort

, from Red Deer Summary: This is the best trail in Red Deer. There is a lot of crazy North Shore, (complements of the Biker Gang). If you are looking for some insane freeriding this is the trail for you. Recommended Route: Turn off 67th on the gravel road. Go down the paved trail, and when you reach the turn at the bottom of a small hill, turn off left on a small trail. Other recommended trails in the same area: The only good trail in Red Deer.

, from Lacombe Summary: Excellent technical riding with lots of small to medium drops, ramps and bridges, and some good uphills if you do the route in reverse. The trail is suitable for intermediate + riders only. It is probably the most technical riding ( and the best )in Red Deer. Recommended Route: Start on the top route and go to where a barbed wire fence crosses the trail. Backtrack a short distance and then drop down to the lower trail. Ride it back to the paved bike path. Other recommended trails in the same area: Trail system behind Red Deer College
