, from Lacombe Summary: The road up is a good workout. The trail across to the old lookout provides some good singletrack ( both ways ) and then pick any of the singletrack down the front of the mountain. None of the trails are very difficult if you are a competent x-country rider. Provides an excellent night ride if you are so inclined. Recommended Route: Up the fire road, across to the old lookout, back to the new lookout and then down any of the singletrack. Other recommended trails in the same area: Onion Lake,Hummingbird Creek area

, from Tomahawk Summary: Excellent climb and trail network. Trails are very narrow with the odd jump thrown in for fun. I believe these trails were the Canada cup XC & downhill courses. Recommended Route: Head South West through Rocky Mountain House about 38 ish K's past Cow lake. Trail head is located on the left side of the Gravel road. Look for a big parking area elivated about 20' up on the left hand side of the road. Other recommended trails in the same area: Please take care of this trail. Pick up after yourself

, from Red Deer Summary: Very technical trail. Not well marked though. I had a hard time finding the start, I got on it somewhere midway. The section I was on was single track and very windy. It was slow going up and down because of the density of the trees. There is lots of incline. Most of the trail is up or it is down. Not many level areas. Kieran,s directions on the web page are hard to follow. There is no sign for baseline mountain on the road. The parking lot is 38.5 km past the Cow Lake Store (Grandview Stage)

, from DRAYTON VALLEY AB Summary: GOOD STUFF TO RIDE, THE CANADA CUP TRAIL IS A NARROW, ROOTED, ROCKY TRAIL WITH NO DROPS OR JUMPS (THAT SUCKS!) THE FIRE ROAD DOWN IS GOOD FOR THE ADRENAL GLANDS. Recommended Route: UP THE FIRE ROAD TO THE SUMMIT AND FOLLOW ALONG RIDGE FOR A GOOD RIDE, ITS A TOSS UP BETWEEN RIDING THE FIRE ROAD DOWN OR THE CANADA CUP TRAIL, THE FIRE ROAD IS NASTY FAST!!
