once in wellington find the signs to karori,go down the main street to the bike shop on the corner(mud cycles i believe) and carry on about 200-300 metres past that to the car park.

Summary:
Makara has an amazing flow to it, even on the uphills. Great bush shelter and very technical descents. Caters for all abilities from kids to pros.

1) Koru/Salley Alley/Missing Link/Aratihi/Ridgeline/SWIGG/Starfish
2) Koru/Salley Alley/Missing Link/Aratihi/Leaping Lizard/Nikau Valley/Missing Link/Magic carpet/Skills area/Livewires

Summary:
Climbs on the single track is sweet!The fireroad climb is not over an hour.If fit!The downs from the top are sweet ass.The single track in the bush is fast and fun.There are a few places to open up on th tops just look ahead and watch for others.Great park.Vertigo is the best trail off the top!Shoot off Zacks trail to Vertigo.You have to ride back up the road if your in the car park.

Recommended Route:
Koru up to playland.Climb fireroad to Missing Link to fireroad,up to the Ridgeline trail.Ridgeline down to Swigg.Swigg down to the carpark.

Summary:
heaps of great tracks havnt done them all my self yet my fav is the missing link at this stage

none go with the flow
