Weekend Warrior Summary:
Makara has an amazing flow to it, even on the uphills. Great bush shelter and very technical descents. Caters for all abilities from kids to pros. Recommended Route:
1) Koru/Salley Alley/Missing Link/Aratihi/Ridgeline/SWIGG/Starfish
2) Koru/Salley Alley/Missing Link/Aratihi/Leaping Lizard/Nikau Valley/Missing Link/Magic carpet/Skills area/Livewires

Climbs on the single track is sweet!The fireroad climb is not over an hour.If fit!The downs from the top are sweet ass.The single track in the bush is fast and fun.There are a few places to open up on th tops just look ahead and watch for others.Great park.Vertigo is the best trail off the top!Shoot off Zacks trail to Vertigo.You have to ride back up the road if your in the car park. Recommended Route:
Koru up to playland.Climb fireroad to Missing Link to fireroad,up to the Ridgeline trail.Ridgeline down to Swigg.Swigg down to the carpark.
