Weekend Warrior Summary:
Great downhill trail, 4wd track width, gets pretty muddy in winter.
Recommended Route:
Make sure you know where you'll end up!!!
The track comes out at Kurua road, which is 20-odd kms away from Raurimu. Best bet is to get one of the lodges to arrange pickup, or to leave a car at the Kurua/Upper Retaruke intersection.
