Summary:
This is a hiking course so don't expect anything too demanding. However, there is some reasonable singletrack, and if you explore the area, you can find some decent downhill sections too.
BUT, because it's a hiking course, on the weekend it's overrun by old people, who get in the way, making for slow going.
My advice is go on a weekday when there are less people about.

Recommended Route:
Explore the area, there are lots of trails leading off the main one. But watch out for the old people!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Duck pond.

Summary:
Overs difficult uphill on ridgeline for first 3 Km always take left turns in trail until you hit the small food shop in middle of trail. Eat, say hello, and make Friends! follow trail from there, still taking all lefts. there are several very dangerous drop ins. Follow someone experienced with the trail so that you can see the best line as there is only one safe one on them, and they are not that obvious (trust me I have all of the scars to prove) near end of trail you will come to a T intersection take the left side trail to Pauls demise (25 foot cliff one of our members fell off of) follow trail down to road turn left on road and you will see after about 3 Km the place you left if you chose left side of T at Duck pond, ride Duck Pond backwords, just as good either way.

Recommended Route:
Ride Duck pond first take right fork down to road. turn left at road ride until you see the signs for Exit #6 turn left at next light go up until you see the trail entrance on rightside. There is no car parking in this area so ride your bike!

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Duck Pond, Ogusu Yama, Futago Yama
