The trail is a great single track, with some tree roots in areas. There are many intersection on the trail, so you have options whenever you ride it. The fenceline ride is know for a hill that the Yokota guys have named "man maker", which is a 100 yard downhill that is pretty intimidating to some. This place is the best riding area near Yokota when the weather has been rainy (which is alot) and the dirt doesnt have much clay in it, so track is usaully good. From base...this is about a 22 mile round trip.
From Yokota, go out the Fussa gate, continue down that road until it comes to a "Y", follow it to the left, when you reach the river, turn right and follow the bike/walking path that follows the river. Follow the path, which turns left over a blue bridge, after the bridge, turn right and follow it until the path "dead ends". Once the path ends, you then should see a log bridge, cross the bridge and follow the dirt path. You then walk down some metal steps, then turn left...following the river again. Continue riding and you will pass a driving range. Follow that road, it will turn to the left and meet a busy cross street, go straight across the steet and ride for about 4 or 5 miles up a long paved road, passing an old folks home. Continue until that road meets another busy road and turn left, follow this road about a 2 miles, until you reach the flashing yellow light, then turn left onto a dirt trail. Once on the dirt trail, push your bike a few hundred feet,
Summary: This trail is a good trail...there are some good climbs, and some good practice on tree roots. As the other guy said...there is a longer trail, but it is a little tougher to give directions to. If you are here, find a group to ride with and they will hook you up.

Summary: The text above gets you to the middle of the full Fence line run. It really starts much farther down the road but this is a good place to start out. Lots of up and downs from hill top to hill top. And Man Maker is just that...
