EVERYTHING you want. DH, XC, Single track, big wide fire trails with big water bars (aka Jumps). Some quite challenging hills amoungst the tracks. There are LOTS of different trails around the joint, so remember where your going. You may find yourself end up in Daisy Hill National Park, as some tracks lead you there. If you ever get lost, just look for power lines, they are found on the top of a hill, and the land around it has been cleared. Just follow the powerlines either way, and you will find a track in the general direction that you need to be following. Go slow around the trails near the carpark, as people like walking down the tracks, take it easy around there, then unleash yourself when a bit farther out!! HAVE FUN, see you out on the trails.!

Summary:
Great jumps on the downhills. Nice and wide fire trails for racing your mate. The signs say no bikes but I've never seen anyone in there, except close to the carpark. It's a quiet place during the day, so take a friend just in case you wipe out. This place is alot better then Toohey Forest if you like to explore. Heaps of trails so you could spend a whole day in there. Have fun!!

Recommended Route:
The best place to start is from the carpark off West Mt. Cotton road. But ther is also an entrance off Leolindo St at Shailer Park.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Daisy Hill state Forest is close by and so is Kimberly Park Forest.

Summary:
Lots of different trails in here, including some nasty granny gear up hills. The bushland is rather lush (for Brisbane) and makes for a scenic outing.

Recommended Route:
We normally start at Daisy Hill and work our way over to Venmans Park via the gravel road and some single track

Summary:
This place is great with so me really fast technical down hills and some that If you crash your going to get hurt in a big way. Make sure your not alone on some of these hills and have fun. There are a couple of fireroad hills that seem to go forever and have technical corners (when at full noise) that make you push the limits of ya bike

Recommended Route:
I usually start my ride in Daisy Hill State forest and then continue on into venman. Look in your UBD cause there is a carpark off Mt Cotton rd

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Daisy hill is also great just try not to kill any walkers and spook the horses if possible cause the riders of them wreck the tracks
