Tewantin State Forets

Elevation is not that great but the sheer grades make up for the lack of vertical. Heaps of sand and lots of air in between

Summary:
i find that all the tracks that i have rode on are all worth riding theres good downhill, excellent crosscountry and also good tracks for first timers who want to become a good rider.

Recommended Route:
personally i take a small track off beckmans road{sort of hidden}that leads to either a main power lines track or woorie park, but for people who are visitng i would go to woorie park and go from there

Other recommended trails in the same area:
theres a track called cheese grader just off sunrise road ask some local riders about it if possible but if not just go up sunrise road first dirt in-road on your left follow that about 10-15m and turn right bout20-25 and have sum wild downhill fun.

Ridden Once

Summary:
At first I thought this was a boring hardpack follow-the-powerlines run, then I headed off into the scrub. Elevation is not that great but the sheer grades make up for the lack of vertical. Riding the loose sand adds to the fun - front goes one way, rear goes the other. There are some great steep grades on the firetrails and they have been built with some great erosion bumps - steep 2 foot rise on the high side, 4 foot drop on the low side - which can be taken at speed with lots of air between them. Some are very close together but do it right and you land from one just as you lift onto the next. The thrill lies in the surprise deep sand as you land. Double and single tracks are good fun. Will do this one again!

Recommended Route:
Don't know where I was in the forest, but it didn't matter - had a ball.
