A nice downhill/freeride but a bugger on the way back up. The trail is really what you make of it, go down fast enough and you can make it scary as hell, but if your just a beginner wanting your first taste of airtime it can be that to. Me and my friends made a jump about two thirds of the way down a while back, but I wouldn''t have a clue hat type of condition they''re in. Theres also two single track tracks that spring off and rejoin later in the downhill.

Trail Directions
Directly opposite St Ives High school the land drops away, if you cross the road you will see a large pipeline (the name suddenly makes sense) there a two roads either side of the pipe, take the left one as you look from the top of the hill (you'll notice pretty quick if you take the wrong on) as you ride down a dodgy lane you eventually reach a fork, one leads left to the street the other goes strait ahead, take the straight ahead option,a few hundred metres down the track you will find a fork, right for a single track session or straight for the downhill weeeeee! you'll find another fork soon, right for the sweet single track which rejoins the downhill later (and the dodgy jump my friends and I built) or left again for more downhill! When you get to the river its the end of the road, I hope for yor sake you can climb and bloody well!!!

Dont be perturbed by the Aerobic rating, on the way down its only a one, its just the long haul back up - there is absolutely no embarrasment getting off and pushing your bike if you rode all the way to the bottom, I personally know only one person who can even get half way up without seriously buggering himself!
