Nail Can Hill

Fire trails linked by miles and miles of singletrack , some rocky and technical others buffed. There are several DH specific trails offering various levels of technical difficulty. There is no vehicle access to these so be prepared to push or ride up ! Elsewhere its XC / Trail style riding with some moderate climbs to be found and lots of options to create loops. A typical route from one end of the reserve to the other would be around 12 kms with 60% singletrack and 40% fire trail , but it is possible to ride a similar route with 90% singletrack. Elevation ranges from 180m ASL to around 440m. Not bad in wet weather , its mostly sandy / rocky on a clay base. The summers are generally long and hot so best to ride in the morning or evening or even better , at night with lights.
