Summary:
This track is super fun,
Some decent DH and then a fairly flat ride back to the cars, or back up the hill,
Can be technial in place but most of it is go as fast as you can, or game to. Push hard at the top and watch for the washed out sections and the fallen trees, they can cause some problems.
The car option is not a have to as the hill is not that bad, but if you are going to ride then watch for the motorbikes that will go screaming past you

Recommended Route:
Same as the rest there is only one way

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Plenty,
To many to list,

Summary:
YEAH I AGREE IT'S GOT SOME BARRELING DOWNHILL RUNS ON IT. woohoo! some challenging flat riding too along the creek bed. A big workout for your brakes, similar to Mt York in the Blue Mtns.

Recommended Route:
Somersby falls to the road, up bitumen to Karion, ride dirt from Kariong to Patonga.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
The Love Tunnel

Good fun downhill but the ride back up the road is a pain. all road, all uphill

Recommended Route:
If you've got a few people, use cars to get to the top of the old highway, park in the Reptile Park car-park and head for somersby falls

Summary:
I KNOW WHY YOUR SHOUTING, this is a trail to shout about. After riding the DH down & back up, then riding the uphill via the highway, I'm now a regular car-shuttler on this track. It's fast & fun. Much more technical than boring old "Oaks firetrail". Nothing extremely technical, no big drops but a fast & furious run.
YOu gotta do it! (50 minutes to 1hr down - 20 minute drive back up!!)

Recommended Route:
Somersby Falls to Mooney Bridge.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Ourimbah state forest.
