Lynton MTB trail network

Everything you want is here. Double black diamond DH, blue square XC, green circle beginners tracks, a 4 cross track, even some north shore style free ride stuff. You can enter from Beagle Tce Lynton, the bottom of Gloucester Ave Belair or from the corner of Kalyra and Belair Rd's Belair. You can even get the train from Lynton station to Pinera station and do shuttle runs. But the best part is it's all legal! Mitcham council have done a fantastic job of accomodating the demand for legal MTB trails. Other Australian councils should take notice.

Take your pick, it's all here. Get this map: http://ilmtb.com/Files/Maps/Mitcham_trails_Z2.pdf and get out there. Make sure you have a look at the north shore free ride stuff and the 4 cross track, even if these aren't your thing it's still impressive.

Recommended Route:
Downhillers should start at the corner of Kalyra and Belair Rd's. XC riders probably best from Beagle Tce Lynton or bottom of Gloucester Ave Belair.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Shepherd's Hill reserve.
