Big relatively flat forest, largely pine plantation with sandy soil. Aparently trails exist on the the side oposite old Caloundra Rd, but we couldn''t find them.

Summary:
The old Caloundra Rd side is way too sandy and not much fun at all. There is one nice little track to the right just after the turnoff, where you climb up a hill and belt back down a steep poorly defined single track, but that is totally ruined by a patch of sand at the bottom which is hard to see and really nasty to hit at 20km an hour on an angle!
This region encourages you to keep riding lest you get attacked by horse flies for standing still!
