Summary:
There is a map of the MTB trails here. Nothing is sign posted but if you can read a map then you'll find you way around. It's basically been built by Adelaide Mountain Bike club for club races. All legit with Forestry permission etc.

Summary:
There is alot of hidden single track that you will need a local to find. They are not on the maps supplied by the rangers office. They are propably built by the local clubs to race on and are really good fun. This include downhill runs, jumps and cross country single track. The fire tracks are also a nice way to enjoy the scenery but Kuitpo has so much more to offer. The only problem is finding it.

Recommended Route:
Coming from meadows drive past the ranger station and turn left onto Christmas tree hill rd. Drive to the top of the hill untill you hit the T junction and turn left. Keep driving for 200m then turn left into the small carpark. Unload and then cross the road can be and go throught the fence. Here go right and look for the tracks amongst the trees, they will connect reasonably well. There is about 20km of singletrack here that can be ridden both ways making a 40km loop, Nice.

Summary:
you can get some good speed in parts, but its mostly pretty tame fire trails. Some steep bits, some flat, some good areas for mucking around.
Nice for a picnic :P

Recommended Route:
car

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Strath Rd, Mt Lofty

Summary:
These tracks are mainly firetracks, but they are lots of fun, very wide so you can pick up a fair it of speed. I've ridden these tracks when it was raining very heavy, and that made the fun rating go up by about 20,000. They can get a bit boring after a while

Recommended Route:
same as others, park at rangers HQ. Grab a map, you'll need it.
