Trail Directions
Opposite Goat Farm, RHS of Great Eastern Highway in Midland/Glen Forrest Area. River runs up middle of park so you can't get lost- well you can if you head north far enough. Small amount of single track, Mainly narrow fire roads. Some good dh section, rocky decents, creek crossings, climbs, loads of good XC riding - just a matter of searching out the area. It gets busy in carpark on weekends. Quite a few walkers and tourists looking at the waterfalls and wildflowers in area. Heaps of animals, and good for night rides.

Summary:
Lots of variation in trails if your willing to explore, beware of walkers/horseriders/and the occasional motorcycle.I ride this area every day, and have discovered quite a few excellent loops ranging 5km to 50km+.Suitable for all levels of riding from family to epic and some fantastic scenery thrown in just for good measure(check out the falls in winter)

Recommended Route:
Start at Pechey rd carpark in Swanview(beware of thieves)then follow the trail east. Trails leading off both sides once past the tunnel.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Mundaring mtb loop.

Summary:
Mixture of fire roads and single track that provides a solid XC workout. Several fire roads provide fast, sketchy descents. That said, a good place for a family to ride together. On weekends it pays to look out for pedestrians and unleashed dogs.

Recommended Route:
Follow the rail reserve east and choose from trails heading off from either side.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Explore the other side of Gt Eastern Hwy
