House Moutain Trail

Average Rating:    (4 of 5)

After entering the gate you will find your self going up a loose gravel Firetrack. The track will eventually come to a three ways and you are just to continue up and the main track and you will know that you are at the top as it is a large flat area and all you do then is turn around and come back down. Most tracks are washed out Fire Tracks but you can usually find a singal-track by-pass. It usually takes 1hour to get up and about 15 mins to come down

Summary:
This is an add on to what the others guys have said about this trail. Half way up the mountain on the right is some really funky down hill. Its long rocky and steep and heaps of fun. When you get to the bottom be warned that you will not wont to ride back so just ride to the left around the mountain on the rd and you will get back to were you started.

Summary:
Enter though gate than stay on main track. A long tough climb up. Can be very challenging. Keep on track. Track is washed out in a lot of places. a several hunderd metres from start there is a turn off to the left wich can make the ride easyer because it cuts out one of the very hard bits. you will know you are at the top because there is a nice view and the are some red and white poles stuck in the ground. just turn a round and come back. Good fun comming down. Watch out for horse riders.

Got to be a bit fit! Do not try as your first seris mountain bike ride. Carry pump, spare tubes etc. easy to get flat. Very rocky.
