Cross Country Rider Summary: awesome trail - very fast - gotta be careful near the bottom Recommended Route: Left car at bottom (head toward Kerry from Beaudesert) rode up to O'Reilleys 12km uphill then down. Didnt have the luxury of taking 2 cars or a 4WD. Was not too bad going up - took 2 hours and that was taking it easy.

, from Brisbane Summary: Fast and fun. Watch out for too much speed and loose gravel on the edges. Quite rough and rocky in places (we're still talking fire road here, not a downhill rock garden). Your fillings would fall out a bit on a hardtail - but not technical. A fair bit of traffic coming up (it was Easter though). Fun blasting past cars on the way down. A few gentle small uphills, and a longer one at the bottom after a gate. Lots of places to stop and enjoy the view if you're in for a cruise. 20 Minutes of nearly all downhill - very nice. Very easy to go VERY fast. We had a 2WD car follow us down (thanks girls), and it was fine. Going back up would have been OK also (just watch out for mad mountain bikers flying towards you). Very dodgy going up or down in a 2WD if it was wet. Recommended Route: fuel up at the snack bar prior to - great milkshakes

, from brisbane Summary: This place goes off it is fast and open great for high speed runs down the hill, you really need a parent of friend to take the car to the bottom(4wd preffered) or take turns driving. It's not technical but very open, just be carefull about cars coming up. Recommended Route: south east of brisbane in the the ranges on the border, get to O'Rielly's and then come back to the entry
