Summary:
excelent ride with the other trails catering for riders of all abilities. If your super fit (I'm not) it's possible to keep riding back up Lockeyers or Bercouchers until you wear yourself out or do all the tracks in one day.

Recommended Route:
Road up from Lithgow, Via Hassens Walls reserve Browns Gap into Hartley vale then across to the highway and up Bercoughers

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Newnes Forest- more fire trail then you can poke a spoke at (try following the old railline, Glowworm tunnle rd then on to the Coach rd, all the way into the Wolgan. 30-35km one way)

Summary:
take your pick, play on any and all depending on your skill level, climb back via your preferred route and start again.

Recommended Route:
From Mt Vic station ride to the caltex on Great Western Hwy, and head to Mt York. its bitumen all the way. As soon as you get to the track head picnic area you have options, Berghoffers track on the left is a nice gentle warm up, and aits an easy way back to the top from the Hartley valley. Lawson long alley on the left is the next level up the gnarly scale, and rideable back up for the fit and skilled. Continue following the walking/single track towards Mt York (gets a bit hidden at times, it does go all the way)and you'll come across signs to Lockyers, my all time fave track and the best/gnarliest on the Mount, if you pass that you get to the car park at the end, often full of climbers and wallys learning to abseil (never really figured that one out - why bother just going backwards off a cliff, climb the fucker first), Coxs is signposted and also very nice (second gnarliest of the tracks here).
From the bottom you can head right to link up with Lawsons long alley, or head left towards the Highway and go up Vic pass a short way until you hit Berghoffers for the easy way back to the top. Of course theres also Vic Pass uphill. A nice road ride is Mt Vic to Lithgow - two big hills, so you get a downhill either way.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Narrow Neck, Hanging Rock, Oaks if you havent done it, Clarence State Forest (miles of trails here)

Summary:
This track has lots of variation in difficulty with some great flowing bits of singletrack and some really rocky and steep bits. There is a great view from the lookout at the top of mount york and some big log drops/jumps on the way down cox's. A fun ride with a bit of everything.

Recommended Route:
road up mt york road then took the single track on the left to the top and down cox's then took track further along back to top of lockyers and rode down that. Had plowghman's lunch at pub in the bottom of the valley.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Narrowneck plateau firetrail
