Summary:
As of 22nd December 2012, the South Australia Parks & Wildlife and Government made it LEGAL to ride in almost all of the trails through Cleland Conservation Park.

This means Cross Country, All Mountain and Down Hillers can now ride the following trails listed below.

Obviously we all need to obey the unwritten rules and not "accidentally" run over stubborn walkers (who continue to abuse us even though riding these tracks is legal).

Chambers Gully,
Longridge,
Winter Track,
Lodge Track,
Kitto,
Gunbower,
Nursery,
Bartril Spur,
Wine Shanty,
The Mireen,
Chinamas Hut,
Carro,
Birriee,
Kirrang

Recommended Route:
Any of the trails listed !

Although....the Down Hillers might need a small helping hand up Chinamans, Carro and Chambers so you don't blow a heart valve having to pedal up-hill at 25% incline ;-)

These tracks are awesome.

Plenty of fire trials, single track, rocks, bends, drop offs, logs and some mud (in winter).

You'll also see plenty of Kangaroos, Emu's, Koala's, Kookaburra's up close and personal.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
See those listed.

Hi, wondering if you might know where the Chambers Gully Downhill track starts/ends. Is it just off Greenhill Rd near bus stop/big power line tower and end at the Burnside Quarry road?? (off Waterfall Gully Rd)

Summary:
Scenic trail from Waterfall gully up to Cleland Conservation park.
I had no idea this trail was considered just a downhill trail. I've always always done it as a commute from work up to my house in the hills. It's a sick DH journey as well don't get me wrong, but riding up has it's own rewards as it's a stunning bush trail.

Recommended Route:
Try dropping in from 100m down past the Cleland entrance up on Greenhill rd. It's another track I cant remember the name of, but it'll give you another 2 K's of riding before you come to Ridge, or Chambers. OR, ride up Chambers and do the down on Ridge.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Eagle Park is good and it's legal, unlike Chambers and Ridge.

Summary:
Good, fast downhill with lots of rocks and turns. Lots of fun, without being too easy. Can be ridden by any level of experience, if you find it too easy, go faster! Rangers dont really like people riding down here, but apparently only the head ranger cares, most of the others turn a blind eye

Recommended Route:
Either go up greenhill rd and ride down wine shanty track, or go down waterfull gully rd and ride up chambers gully rd

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Winters, or mount osmaond reserve (cant remeber it name of wtaerful gully rd)

This trail is in Cleland Conservation Park and is illegal to ride, if you want a total ban on mtbing in the Adelaide hills ,keep riding it .Then sell your mountainbike and buy a roadie coz that's the only place you will be alloewd to ride!!!

Summary:
This is a cool track but stay out of the water slides (grooves)in the track. Get in them and you are screwed, you have to stop and get your bike out. At the bottom of the really steep bit, get some speed up to make it up the hill after it.

Recommended Route:
Up greenhill road, on your right, big wire gate. WARNING: Must lift bike over poles at start and end. Finishes at Waterfall Gully road.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Ride down from Mt. Lofty
