Downhiller Summary: This trail in one word is AWSOME!!! Almost as soon as you start you head downwards... very quickly. After a fairly long downhill section it starts to level out a bit going up and down. after the biggest climb so far you reach the top of the really big downhill bit. At first it is fairly rough, but still fun, just take care. after a sharp left hander that will always put you off line, it smooths out and gets steeper which combines for break-neck speeds and massive air over the water bars. once you get to the bottom you cross two creeks and then head upwards. this hill is a gut-buster and i know no-one who can ride it. it is steep all the way and takes about 25 to 30 mins. to walk up, but its worth it! Recommended Route: from wentworth falls station to woodford station. or join on to the oaks trail for a longer ride. Other recommended trails in the same area: St. Helena, The Oaks, Ingar, Faulconbrige Piont, Narrow Neck, Chicken Run.

Cross Country Rider Summary: From the gate that marks to start of the trail its only a short ride to the fork where you must go right (the other is a dead end). Contrary to other reviewers this is my favourtie section of the trail because the surface is quite good and you can maintain a high speed and most importantly you can scan into the distance, also you can get some good air over the waterbars. After riding through the fern tree gully you are following a ridgeline that eventually starts to descend into the valley where the creeks are. As mentioned by other riders this downhill part of the ride is rocky and one or two turns can creep up on you if you are really getting into it. Erosion has caused a few minor ruts on some of the steeper sections but these are easily navigated. There is a real sense of "calm before the storm" once you are at the tranquil setting of the first creek crossing because it is not long before you are regaining all the elevation you just so cleverly lost. One more creek crossing and off you go. Just when you thought the climbing stops around the next bend it continues and so on....it certainly is a nice challenge and really gets those lungs working. Lactic acid is the only true enemy and there have been many times when it has been my downfall. This trail makes a nice change from the more popular "Oaks" trail which can get a bit over run. Recommended Route: I always do this trail in conjunction with "The Oaks" since I find Anderson's too short to do alone. I have always started from Wentworth Falls and finished at Woodford but next time I'm going the other way just for fun. Other recommended trails in the same area: I'd recommend people try Narrowneck at Katoomba, it's short but EXTREMELY picturesque.

, from Sydney Summary: Only thing to clarify is one you get to the bottom at the stream, which is very pleasant for swimming, take right fork which is the one with concrete pads for truck access. Shallow enought to ride thru and this track takes you up to Bedford. If you turned left (not crossing creek) you go back up to start of track at Wentworth Falls. Aslo be concious of right fork 1km into start. If you take left then you right to deadend/ stream about 1km on and will need to ride back up to that fork.
Recommended Route: Found directions in original review to be pretty good.

, from Sydney Summary: Great all day ride. 3:30 riding time for the whole lot, but you will need longer for breaks and lunch. Andersons is fantastic for the smooth flowing down hills. Last section is a bit ruff. I managed to make it up the hill at the end too. Oaks is similar but ruffer to start with. The single track at the end make it an awesome ride. Recommended Route: Andersons followed by the Oaks. About 5k into andersons make sure to take the right and not the straight on as this leads to a dead end by a pond/waterfall. Pretty but means an extra 1.5k back up the hill
