Ridden Trail: Once a week

Weekend Warrior Summary: Great trail, probably a bit hard for beginners now, simply because of the track condition... It is very rocky, last week i had 2 flats in 6 km's. Apart from that, it is a beautiful thing, the single trail is the big reward for grunting up those hills in the first half. Recommended Route: I think leaving your car at the NPWS carpark, and riding up to the station is probably the go. Other recommended trails in the same area: Narrowneck, Winmalee, Faulconbridge

Ridden Trail: Once a year

Reviewed by: Sussy Summary: This trail does not have much uphill for the amount of downhill there is, so its pretty good for unfit bastards like myself. You can get decent speed on the long downhill firetrail section which then goes into the single track section which is a slight downhill slope. This is a great trail for beginner riders with the fairly smooth surface and not to harsh downhills. Intermediate or above riders should do the Anderson trail instead. Recommended Route: " Other recommended trails in the same area: Anderson

, from ex Sydney - now UK Summary: Rode this one many times when I lived in Sydney - along with many other trails in the Blue Mountains! Some of the best, most condensed quality trails I've found. Biking has taken me to Aus, England , Scotland, Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal (Northern Spain and Portugal probably even better) Recommended Route: Katoomba Stn - Cliff Drive - Narrow Neck - Tarro's Ladder - hang a left up the valley - stick to the L/H side - find the SERIOUSLY mean 4 kms of switch-backs back out of the valley - lie down because your lungs will be inside-out!!! Other recommended trails in the same area: ANY of them!!!!
