, from Blackheath NSW OZ Summary: The Vic Falls road is $hithouse, nothing but a glorified firetrail that hasn't been graded for yonx. Too many corrugations for my liking, out of the saddle riding for non FS rigs. Turn off at Asgard swamp road from the Vic Falls Road about 1km short of the Vic Falls Car park and follow the firetrail-cum-singletrack to the swamp. This will give you about 3 km of moderately technical riding. Beyond the swamp is single track that leads to an abandoned coal mine. Don't get to close to the edge of the cliff or you will drop into an abyss. The only negative about this track is that you have to haul your bike up hill for a few km unless you are an uphill specialist with legs of steel. An aluminium bike is heavy enough. The Asgard swamp road leads to a massive rock formation that is a good place to stop and rest. The views from it are spectacular. I recommend the aerogard because flies and mosquitoes can sometimes ruin your day down here. Make sure your brakes are in good nick. Nothing spectacularly steep, but you do need brakes. Recommended Route: As above, but take the single track to the Asgard Swamp and beyond. The Asgard swamp turnoff is clearly signposted on your left hand side as you near the Victoria Falls carpark.

, from Mt Victoria Summary: The only worthwhile things here are the tracks to the North near the end of the road. Its basically a boring dirst road (well I DO live here, the views are everywhere - OK, OK so these ones are nice). The tracks to the North are both technical and fun! The tracks get a 4, the road a 2 (Im being VERY generous) Recommended Route: As above
