Kosciuszko Summit Climb
1 reviews
 4 of 5

You will encounter a very good quality service trail which will wind itself uphill. There's a great view of the Main Range - so take it slowly and enjoy the view on the way up because you'll scream back downhill. After 5km you'll reach the clear Snowy River - very beautiful spot for a break - before climbing up a steep hill towards Seamans Hut. Here, your final destination - Mt Kosciuszko, would be seen. From here on there's only 2km till you reach Rawsons Pass - where bikes can go no further and you'll have to lock your machine. Retrace your steps again to get back to Charlotte's Pass as there's no other way! But take care on the beautiful descent coz walkers will go crazy if you go too fast or too quietly fly by them.

Summary:
The downhill all the way to the park gate, which is on the main road is a thrilling ride for those who likes long stretches o road down hill. There are three hills to push you (after climbing the summit and doing these three hills is like additional torture for beginner/intermediates).

Recommended Route:
Only one route up.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Downhill from the top of Blue Cow.
