Summary:
It's been a while (years?) but the quarry trail starts as technical single and changes to fire trail and no trail in parts (around waters edge). you can always pick up something and just follow. Plenty of water available :) You end up shadowing main road and at any time can put bike on shoulder and climb up to it so just ride until you drop then climb out and ride back on road. Last ridden years ago - but trail was well used (horses mainly) at that time so assume it to be same. Short trail from picnic area is good fun for a warm up (bikes allowed at that time - has been used for comp.) Park - ride loop - cross dam to quarry and go.
