Weekend Warrior Summary: Went to the Goat Farm yesterday for the first time - and didn't have that much fun on a bike since leaving Switzerland. Great climbs, fun down hills and your regular 'oh my god, that could have gone wrong' moments. The friend who came with me is an inexperienced mountain biker and could still enjoy the ride - needless to say, we stayed away from the sicker drop-offs. Had a lovely 'over the handlebar' incidence - which luckily happened in a sandy stretch on the lower parts. I was a bit over-confident over that log...and didn't make the next corner. Like I say: great fun. I will definitely go back to Goat farm and have a look how fast my XTC2 2007 can go. Or how far I can fling it when loosing control. ;0 Recommended Route: Haven't figured that one out as of yet.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Rode this on a XC club race day, got there early and played on the easy kicker near the end of the rollcoaster (I think).
Roll down the 25ft drop as describled above, about 5 times, brake:don't brake. Recommended Route: Haven't yet had the time to explore the whole Goatfarm area, will do during the two weeks hoildays now on.

, from Perth Summary: Fucking scary steep in many, many, sections. High speed landings are sketchy because of ball-bearing pea gravel. Check launch ramp and landing area before attempting to boost over the stream because the stream width and landing area change with rainfall. Look out for other riders and walkers/dogs as you could be travelling VERY fast. Good idea to have current ambo membership (just in case). Recommended Route: Remember your armour FFH Other recommended trails in the same area: Toodjay has some awesome hills and the sheep make excellent unpredictable moving hazards so no two runs are the same
